Welcome to
Magandaka Cattery of Central Maine, an
exclusive
in-house cattery.
We
raise TICA registered, well socialized,
exotic looking Bengal cats. All of which
sport beautiful rosettes, spotted, or
marbled patterns.
F2
Keva, my beloved pet
Magandaka
selects breeder cats that closely
resemble the Asian Leopard Cat (ALC
a small spotted forest dwelling
feline located in Asia). In our
program we use Bengal’s at least 4
generations or more removed from the
ALC.
It
is our goal at Magandaka to use
healthy breeder stock that closely
fit the current TICA "standard
of the breed." In doing so we
hope to bring our kittens to the
next level of exquisite Bengal cats.
We
are proud members of TICA, TIBCS and
TIBBA in which
we support their mission and
goals.
All
Magandaka cats and kittens come with
contracts to protect the cats and
kittens as well as the buyer and
seller.
We look forward in
talking with you in regards to any
questions you may have about our
Bengal Cats. In the meantime enjoy
the beautiful cats pictured on our
web site.

Goji
Meet
Magandaka Goji ...
He will be heading up my Bengal
program as the King of Magandaka
Bengals. Goji is a paw printed
rosetted Bengal which is very
exotic looking. Paw prints are not
all that common in the Bengal
breed and we are sure proud of his
handsome look. Goji came from one
of the litters born here at
Magandaka. He is pelted which
makes his coat very silky soft to
the touch.
Goji's Sire is Merkaba KC of Magandaka
and his mom is Magandaka Freedom.
Klassikbengals Anoike of
Magandaka
AKA ( Noike)
Noike is a young
male cat just 5 months old in these
pictures and still developing. He is a
purr kitty and loves to be carried
around and made of. Noike has great
qualities for a Bengal and will do fine
in the breeding program here at
Magandaka. I really like his thick
medium length tail and his pattern
which is beginning to open into donut
rosettes. We cannot wait for the
kittens he and the queens will have
later this year.
~Thanks Mona and
Rick for my new pal Anoike.
Magandaka
Indy
...
Indy is a wonderful
marbled pattern Bengal cat. As you can see
he has a very wild beautiful looking
head/face. All that visit friends Tim
& Ann where Indy resides take a couple
of deep breaths while admiring his beauty
when he strolls up to say hello. Indy is
an example of the beauty and cutting edge
Bengal cat that we continually strive for
here at Magandaka Cattery!

Testimonials
The
letter below is in regards to a 2yr old
male cat (Kenya) that was in my breeding
program here at Magandaka Bengals. I thought it
important to share this with you all as many
have reservations in having a retired breeder as
a pet. Kenya is a living testimonial as to how
one can bond to their new human owner.
Thanks
Andre for finding caring for Kenya.

Hi
Mike,
I just wanted to let you know how much of
a great impact Kenya has been in
my life since I got him from you. First of
all, he was very comfortable and
quiet in the car on the way back to
Montreal.
Once here he was very shy but after 3 days
he felt very comfortable. All in
all, he adjusted very quickly. I have tons
of fun playing with him and
petting him and I always long to go home
from work to see him. He has not
bothered any plants that I have (I find
that unbelievable!!!) and he has
been on a perfect behavior. That said, he
has been pure enjoyment!!! I am
presently building him a 7 feet cat tree
with a hammock on top. I need to
find more scrap wood. Unfortunately he
does get lonely while I am at work
and he gets very vocal as soon as I arrive
obviously as he wants attention.
While I have to work to make a living, I
am considering maybe getting
another cat so that he is not bored or
else I hope that he doe! sn't mind some
time alone.
I will send you pictures of him pretty
soon. I am so ever pleased that I got
him, he's the highlight of my day every
day.
I wish you the best with your new
breeders and hope that your cats will find
as happy owners as I am.
Thanks again for everything!!!!
Take care,
Andre
Hello
Mike,
Well,
it's been just about a month now, and we are
having such a good time with Zumana and
Mallika. They have taken over our lives - no
more television for us. We just play with
them, watch them and laugh. They are the
most adorable little kitties ever. They love
to chase each other all around the house and
then they sack out in the sunroom. When they
get separated from each other (or when they
can't find Peter or me) they call out to
each other until they 'reunite'. They'll
start at opposite ends of the room, run
toward each other, jump up in the air and
slam into each other, then go wrestling
around on the floor. They just love to be
patted and purr so loudly! Anyway, they are
exactly as you said they'd be - fun,
beautiful and affectionate. Thank you so
much. I'm going to try to send you some
photos separately...hope I can do it!

and Peter
Mike,
We are really
enjoying our newest family member. He's
getting comfortable and loving the kids.
He'll call to me if he can't find me , and
then gets all silly when he comes to me. Too
cute. The dog is respectful of him, she
doesn't know what to make of this growling
fluffball on the back of the couch. She lets
him sniff her and she tries to lick
him. Oliver loves our oldest
cat, the kids now call him Grampa. He's
quite good with the kitten. Our four yr old
cat just steers clear, and he found a
chipmunk in the cellar wood shop and brought
it to me, to show me how much we should
still love him! That's a first.
After the
adjustment period in the bathroom and my
bedroom, I gradually introduced him to
the rest of the house without any kids
or animals around. He's doing great
and cruises the entire place now when I have
the dog outside. But he still loves my room
as his refuge.
And my husband
is loving him, especially when he climbs
into his lap and purrs.
He's a beautiful
little boy. My digital camera needs
batteries, so I'll take some pics soon.
Thanks
Hi
Mike,
Just
to let you know Raven is doing great.
She is a total love bug who cries whenever she
does not get the attention she wants. I
have a ton of pictures to send you; however,
my computer is a little messed up right now.
Both my parents and my in-laws are freaks for
Raven. My father-in-law swears he has
never seen a more beautiful cat.

Hello Mike,
Just wanted to send a quick update
about our beautiful Bengal girls.
They're doing very well, purring
constantly, and they run right to us when
we
walk in.
Their coats are absolutely amazing,
getting more gorgeous every day. They
had their first vet check-up and 12
week shots. Everyone at the vet's office
loved them. They are getting very big very
quickly. So thank you for two great
cats, and we'll update you again soon,
next time with some digital photos.
Thanks again,
Danielle & Andrew
